Investigations. We can carry out investigations for companies, organisations or individuals for loss prevention and detection. For example;

• Inflated mileage or expense claims
• Deception or fraud by employees or customers
• Fraud and crime prevention schemes
• Any areas where involving the police may damage the reputation or image of the company, or where a criminal prosecution may not be the way the company wants to proceed.

Security Testing. PSI Ltd will attempt to breach your security in order to highlight where weaknesses lie and, most importantly, what you should do to close the gaps in your security. This testing could include;

• Accessing areas prohibited to the general public, or where authorised access only is allowed.
• Accessing company details which would be invaluable to competitors.
• Finding other vulnerabilities in your physical security, e.g. opportunities for theft.

IT Security Testing. Always with your authority, PSI Ltd will attempt to breach your computer systems to highlight where vulnerabilities lie and, most importantly, what you should do to minimise any risks. For example;

• Fraud where funds are being transferred from your accounts or used without your knowledge.
• Identifying how hackers can gain access to your systems.
• Ensuring that your records, databases and processes are fully protected in case of accidents or catastrophes.

Public Authority Investigations. From November 4th 2004 Monitoring Officers in each Local, Police and Fire Authority are responsible for investigating complaints against Members of Public Authorities received by the Standards Board for England. PSI Ltd can carry out these investigations impartially and thoroughly and are in regular contact with the Standards Board for England.

How we operate

PSI Ltd provide a completely impartial service with a fully detailed report at the end of each investigation. All evidence and audit trails are fully preserved in accordance with standards acceptable in a court of law. All investigations involving surveillance are carried out under the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act (RIPA) 2000 and with full regard to Human Rights Legislation so you can be sure of the integrity and legality of the investigation.

Hourly rates for investigations include all expenses so you know exactly what you're getting without any nasty surprises.
